Invisible Disability

For a Creative Mornings event in Chicago, I was selected along with two other co-speakers for Audience Takes the Stage on the theme of ‘Invisible.’ Not all disabilities are visible and representation is important to educate and evoke empathy. My goal is to make my Invisible Disability, Deafness, a visible one by spreading awareness and sharing my unique voice. Advocating for access and inclusiveness reminds people that we are just as deserving as everyone else.

Video recording coming soon. In the meantime, check out co-speaker Vanessa Hurr’s reel of the event.
